15 year old Daniel Hernandez Black continued his recent run of tournament wins, with his first victory at 18 and Under level, in the Summer County Tour event, held in Nottingham.

In his quarter final, he defeated the highly rated Hugo Hunt, from Lincolnshire, who retired with Daniel one game from victory, before winning a tight semi final match, against Matthew McKinnon, from Leicestershire, in two tie breaks.

In the final he met Seth Briggs Williams, from Cambridgeshire, who was a surprise winner, from the other half of the draw and Daniel was in imperious form, only dropping one game, on his way to the title.
